We create spaces for young people particularly immigrant youth to celebrate  their cultural heritage through music, dance and art to build confidence, pride and genuine sense of belonging.

We care about turning insight into action. Our commitment is to build practical partnerships, secure resources, provide mentorship and conduct relevant research to ensure youth-led ideas achieve real, lasting impact in Bergen and indeed Norway and beyond.

Child Protection

A forum for dialogue and support among ethnic minority parents navigating the experience of having lost custody of their children

We create a supportive community built on trust, openness, acceptance, and security. In this space participants can share their experience, offer one another emotional support, work through difficult feelings together, learn about available formal support services, and build their capacity as parents.

This project focuses on youth from ethnic minority backgrounds aged 15 to 23, who find themselves on the margins of society and are drawn to environments in Bergen where drug use and criminal activity are present

New Paths: Young minority girls free from substance abuse

The project aims to deepen the target group’s understanding of commonly used drugs and the social, physical, and psychological harms associated with substance use. At the same time, we seek to strengthen the girls’ capacity to resist peer pressure and manage cravings. with the overall goal of preventing or reducing drug experimentation and ongoing use.

The main goal of this initiative is to give the targeted group a deeper understanding of their own bodies and sexuality, while also contributing to the prevention of unwanted pregnancies, abortions and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). An equally important aim is to help the girls feel, as much as possible, that they are equal partners in any sexual situation

Stronger families: Parents, Disabilities and Support

Strengthening support for African parents in Bergen in their role as caregivers for children with disabilities. The main goal of this initiative is to strengthen parents understanding of various disabilities and the support services available to them, as well as the rights their children hold. This is achieved through culturally sensitive dialogue, reflection and information sharing within a safe and welcoming space built on acceptance, trust and both emotional and social support.

This is a forum targeting immigrant women, particularly single parents who share a deep commitment to their children’s academic success and future well-bieng. It is a space built on trust, honesty and mutual respect. Our aim is for mothers to come together  to support one another and to exchange practical ideas that has worked in their own families

This is a project designed to meet the needs of immigrant seniors who often experience isolation in their daily lives. Our aim with this project is to create regular gatherings, shared meals, and cultural activities. Our goal is to ease loneliness, restore a sense of belonging, and ensure they remain valued members of our community.
